The private firm, Hortena doo was founded in Strumica in 1994, and has also been registered in Belgrade, Serbia since 2006. Hortena is engaged in the production, export-import, and wholesaling and retailing of various merchandise. The company owns more secondary warehouses and one main for the preparation of goods for export (sorted and packed).
We own our land where we grow and produce our products in agreement with our customers. Annually we produce about one million kilogorams fresh vegetables (cabbage, red pepper, carrots, watermelons, tomatoes and cucumbers).
Besides our production we also purchase agricultural products (vegetables and fruits) which are prepared for export to more foreign markets (European Union: Austria, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Slovenia - Balkans: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Albania; and Russia, Belarus, Ukraine).
